Comment colors updated

My today’s achievement: updated comment colors of my theme in VSCodium for improved readability.

Yes, you can adjust it yourself even if you use a custom theme.

Originally, I just wanted to edit the color of my second vertical ruler (yes, you can have multiple ones 🤯), since after switching from the theme Bearded Theme Arc to Bearded Theme Arc Reversed, it was hardly visible.

But then, I checked whether you can also adjust other parts and it always nagged me that the contrast ratio of comments was that bad. To be exact, the contrast ratio was 1.55:1 before.

And now after changing it via the following code in the settings.json, contrast ratio is 4.82:1:

    "editor.tokenColorCustomizations": {
        "comments": "#6f86a8"
    },Code language: JSON / JSON with Comments (json)

As a developer, I work with WordPress every day. By day, I create plugins and themes, solve problems and sometimes produce new ones. At night, it’s not unusual to find me at the WordPress Meetup in Stuttgart with my dog. 🐕
